Lesego Moseki Appointed As Bank of Botswana Deputy Governor

President Duma Boko has appointed Lesego Caster Moseki as the deputy governor of the Bank of Botswana for a term of five years, effective from 1 February 2025.

Moseki joined the apex bank in 1994 as an assistant supervisor in the foreign exchange reserves management unit and, from 2020, rose to director of the Financial Markets department.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Botswana and a Master of Science in Money, Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham.

"The Bank of Botswana Board, Management and staff congratulates Mr Moseki on his appointment and look forward to his valuable contributions towards organisational leadership of the bank and attainment of its mandate," the Bank of Botswana said.
