Starlink Mini is now available in Botswana and will cost P2,700 for the hardware and P400 for the monthly subscription. It is a compact, portable kit that can easily fit in a backpack and is designed to provide high-speed, low-latency internet on the go.
The Starlink Mini's subscriptions will be divided into Residential Lite and Residential. Residential Lite is mainly for unlimited deprioritised data and is best for low-usage and small households and will cost P400 per month. Residential is mainly for households with a fair amount of usage and will cost P688 per month with unlimited data.
For customers who would like to use the Starlink Mini on their boats, then it will cost between P15,782 and P78,482 a month depending on which mobile priority data package they choose between 1GB and 5GB.
Starlink Mini is also available for businesses at a cost of P962 and P1,379 for use on land in a fixed location and P15,732 for maritime and land mobility usage.
Starlink, which launched in Botswana in August, introduced the Mini in June 2024 to offer a more mobile and compatible version of the base Starlink model which costs P5,000 for the hardware in Botswana and subscription of P688 a month.
