Air Botswana Introduces New Routes To Namibia & SA

Air Botswana has introduced new routes to Namibia and South Africa and also revived ones which have not been in operation since the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, the frequency of some routes has been increased. The new routes will commence on October 1 and November 1 respectively.

The new routes include Gaborone-Durban (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), Gaborone-Windhoek (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), Maun-Cape Town (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday), Maun-Windhoek (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday), Kasane-Mpumalanga (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), Kasane-Cape Town (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday), Kasane-Windhoek (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday). 

All new flights will have a frequency of three flights per week.

The reinstated routes are Johannesburg-Maun (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), Johannesburg-Kasane (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) and Johannesburg-Francistown (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday). 

The increased frequency routes are Gaborone-Cape Town which now has five flights per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Sunday), Gaborone-Harare which now has three flights (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), and Gaborone-Lusaka which also now has three flights (Wednesday, Friday, Sunday).
