Absa Botswana has told shareholders that it expects its profit before tax to increase between 20-30% when the company releases its consolidated results for the six months ended 30 June 2024. The bank will release the results on 17 September 2024.
Last year, for the six months ended 30 June 2023, Absa recorded P448 million in profits. Factoring in the projected percentage increase, it means that this year the bank expects its profit before tax to be between P538 million and P582 million.
