The Orange Botswana Foundation is committed to supporting and improving lives in communities within which it operates by contributing to sustainable social and economic development of Botswana. The Foundation has since launched a call for proposals for the "Women's Digital Centres" project.
The Women's Digital Centres are designed to offer support to NGOs and Associations which fight for women's empowerment through professional integration and economic indepencence. The Centres offer basic educational modules on the specific needs of women, supported by digital tools and aim to promote women's digital inclusion by making them familiar with digital devices and basic softwares.
All NGO partners that would like to reinforce existing Centers and/or set up new Women's Digital Centers may request support in the following areas:
• Strengthen existing Women's Digital Centers, with a focus on accompanying the trainers and the participants enrolled in the Center: ToT (Training of Trainers) sessions, educational content and additional digital equipment if needed.
• Set-up new Women's Digital Centers in areas which are not yet covered by the program in the country
