For the third year running, local technology firm Xavier Africa has sponsored the top-performing student in Computer Systems Engineering at the Botswana Accountancy College via Xavier Academy. This year, the prize was scooped by Kentse Abdullar. Xavier Africa's sponsorship for the best-performing Computer Systems Engineering student in BAC started in 2021. The sponsored student will receive a paid internship, a cash prize, and hands-on training with diverse development tools.
Xavier Academy provides training in AI, software development, and problem-solving which seek to prepare students to be at the forefront of technological advancement. Its educational outreach extends to schools like Dow Academy and GSS.
