The Non-Bank Financial Institutions Regulatory Authority (NBFIRA) has warned Batswana against engaging with the services of Berry Crypto Trading Platform.
In a statement, the regulator stated that the platform is not licenced to provide virtual asset business services in Botswana, therefore, the business and its representatives are operating illegally.
Berry Crypto Trading claims to provide services related to a virtual token exchange and facilitate the exchange between virtual assets and fiat currency.
