In a press release, Stanbic Bank Botswana's Head of Transformation Keamogetse Mpudi mentioned that the ambition and objective of the program is to support youth and be part of their educational growth as well as the digital transformation of Botswana, helping inch closer towards a knowledge-based economy as espoused in Vision 2036.
For the University of Botswana, Dr. Tshiamo Motshegwa described the collaboration with Stanbic Bank Botswana as a helping hand for the university to drive its new strategy of creating a future for the knowledge-based generation.
"The courses in this training programme will upskill students with professional competencies required by the market, thus bridging the gap between education and industry and giving the graduates a competitive edge for active participation in the digital transformation of Botswana.”, concluded Dr. Motshegwa.
